The laser consists of two major subassemblies: the Optical Head and the Power Supply. They are connected together by cables, wires, and hoses, running through an umbilical.
The optical head contains all the necessary components for generating the infrared laser beam and optionally, its 2nd, 3rd harmonics, including wavelength separation package.
The power supply, in addition to energizing the optical head, provides all logical functions
necessary to operate the laser, and the cooling capability to dissipate the heat generated in the optical head by the operation of the flashlamp.
Additional safety and flexibility in operating the laser is provided by a remote control box, an RS232 and USB port computer interface.
The laser system is truly "turn-key".
No adjustments are necessary to operate the laser.
